Job Readiness Training

Volunteers are welcome to join us for ASAP’s September job readiness training. Volunteers are encouraged to come at 11:45AM with a dish to contribute to our potluck lunch. After lunch, volunteers help facilitate small group practice with clients from 1-3PM. Songs of Hope: Benefit Concert

Join us at 4:30 pm Saturday, Feb. 23, for a concert featuring Stories and Songs of Hope in support of refugees seeking asylum in the U.S. Our choir and guest musicians will perform musical selections on the theme of “sanctuary,” with several asylum seekers sharing their stories. Admission is free with donations encouraged for the Asylum Seekers Assistance Project, www.asylumprojectdc.org. Reception following. Please spread the word!
